IMPORTANT NOTE RE HOME AFFAIRS
Topic: HOME AFFAIRS

PLEASE NOTE: Home Affairs will NO LONGER issue "handwritten" Unabridged Certificates.

If you are a foreigner getting married in South Africa and you wish to obtain an "Unabridged" Marriage Certificate, please allow for this in your travel plans, or alternatively you can nominate a family member to collect your unabridged certificate on your behalf.

Topic: Notes of Thanks

Dear Elaine

Many thanks for your email.  Please pass on our most sincere thanks to Rev. Brits.  We were delighted with the service that he conducted and the time that he spent with us both!  It really was our perfect day and Rev. Brits played a huge part in making it so.  We are traveling for a couple of weeks but will send photos on our return.

A huge thanks once again.

With much love.

Gary & Hannah

SUCCESS at Home Affairs!
Topic: Cape Town Weddings
Success! I went to the Wynberg office this morning, arriving just as they opened. They completed the certificate in just about 10 minutes and I was on my way.
Again, a huge "Thanks" to you and Rev. Brits for helping us through the entire marriage process.
Back to honeymooning in Cape Town...!
Cheers,
Chris (and Melanie) [January 2011]

Thanks and Appreciation
Topic: Cape Town Weddings

Dear Elaine
Rev Daniel is so full of energy & enthusiasm, EXACTLY what we were hoping for. What a character, we were both really impressed.  I LOVE the sand ceremony & how personal he makes everything. He is clearly VERY experienced at what he does & we're very relieved to have a minister who can carry us through the ceremony rather than drag us through it. Thanks so much for the support both you and Rev Daniel have given us. You’ve managed to replace nervousness with excitement.

Love Mare

Angie and Loen (UK)
Topic: Congratulations

Dear Elaine

Thank you so much for your kind words.  We will always remember yours and Rev. Brits involvement in our special day.

Our ceremony was perfect.  The weather the week running up to our blessing ceremony did not look very promising but somehow the gods were with us and we had an absolutely perfect day weather-wise and in every other sense.  We even went para-gliding after the ceremony – totally unplanned!  It completed a very special day celebrated with friends and family.

We did not expect the certificates and we were thrilled with them – such a personal touch.  We will treasure them.  The words of the hands ceremony reduced us both to tears – so having the actual words to take with us meant the world to us.

We searched high and low in England for ladies white suits – to no avail!!  In South Africa we found them effortlessly!  They were just perfect for the setting on the beach.  We kept our theme colour orange as far as possible and it worked seamlessly.

We are now back in the uk...into the big winter freeze....you can imagine how we yearn for the warmth of the Southern African sun!

Thank you once again – for your blessing on our future and for your involvement in our special day.

Kind regards
Angie and Loen

Dearest Angie and Loen
It was such a pleasure to meet you both and to conduct your ceremony, and be a part of your special day.  Thank you for the opportunity.
God Bless, Rev. Daniel Brits
