ME...Reverend Daniel Brits
It's
been my life's work as a
Non-Denominational Minister with TACOT for 41 years, to provide care,
help, guidance and nurturing in our society. I am passionate and
committed in service to God.
When
I started preaching all those
years ago, there were no websites, and no emails for communication.
Everything was 'house-to-house' personal visits with individuals, families or
groups, eager for guidance, wisdom and support, and sometimes just a listening
ear.
Today,
it's a whole new world.
In
this changing society, whilst
still delivering the Biblical guidelines, and my interpretation of God’s word,
I too am moving with technology and can reach many more people. I have established
a website to reach and
network with genuine wedding service providers, those whom I feel are honest,
trustworthy and respectable.
It’s the ideal milieu to
showcase wedding related services.
My Approach to Marriage Ceremonies
As a Non-Denominational Minister,
[registered with the Department of
Home Affairs for Section 2 and Section 5 Marriages and Civil Unions], it is my
opinion that your chosen faith is precisely that – YOUR CHOICE. It is
never my intention to sway your choice
or judge your decision. My input is to maintain the sanctity of your union with
the dignity and respect it deserves. As
a Reverend, a clergyman, a Minister, who understands fully the commitment a
couple is about to make, I take great pride in ensuring that the two people
about to join in their life’s journey, do so surrounded by God’s love and
support, and be guided by His Spirit.
Your wedding is a happy occasion
and I will always deliver a cheerful,
modern and dignified service. One that
you and your guests will always remember.
The very popular inclusions these
days are the “Sand Ceremony”, the
“Rose Ceremony”, and the “Vows to your Children” [if you are joining families
together]. All these are optional and
are now included on my website so that you can see exactly what the procedures
are.
Today’s Wedding Ceremonies
are fun and exciting for everyone, and people
choose to have them in amazing settings.
No longer restricted to ‘a church’, this allows them to be more
personalised and even flamboyant.
It’s my intention to make
your special day the best that it can be!

Naming Ceremonies
In a similar vein, your chosen
faith is your choice. Whatever your faith I will honour and respect
your wishes. Today, whilst many parents
prefer to leave their children’s’ choice of faith to them, for their own
decision later in life, a NAMING CEREMONY is preferable. So you can request
a traditional Christening,
a Baptism, or a Naming Ceremony.

or the venue of your choice to perform Personalised Christenings or Baptism Ceremonies. He will also preside
over the Renewal of your Wedding Vows wherever you choose.

MARRIAGE OFFICER by the Department of Home Affairs. Ordained to do
Section 2 & 5 Marriages & Civil Unions.

For
those with a need or a preference
to have the HOLY SACRAMENT held in Hospital or at your bedside, Rev Brits is
always available.
